Description


The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Bahrain is an independent government organization responsible for regulating the telecommunications sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. It was established in 2002 by the Telecommunications Law which aimed to liberalize the sector and promote fair competition among service providers.

TRA is led by a Board of Directors, appointed by the Minister of Communications and head by a Chairman, who is also the Director General. The Board is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the organization and ensuring compliance with
