Description


The United States Election Assistance Commission (EAC) is an independent government agency responsible for assisting states and localities in administering federal elections in the United States. Established in 2002 by the Help America Vote Act, the EAC works to improve the administration of federal elections by conducting research, developing guidance and sharing best practices to ensure that all eligible Americans have the opportunity to vote and have their votes accurately counted.
