The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) is a government organization based in Taiwan that is responsible for promoting and coordinating scientific research and technological developments in the country. It was established in 1959 as the National Science Council and was reorganized and renamed as MOST in 2014.

The main objective of MOST is to promote and support scientific research and technological developments in Taiwan that contribute to the country's economic growth and social development. The organization works closely with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry
