Description


The Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Scholarship Program (CySP) is an organization within the United States Department of Defense that aims to develop and support a highly-skilled cybersecurity workforce for the US military and federal government. It was established in 2010 as a response to the increasing threat of cyber attacks on critical infrastructure and government agencies.

The DoD CySP is a partnership between the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It
