IMEC (Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre) is a leading research and innovation hub in nanoelectronics and digital technology. Located in Leuven, Belgium, IMEC was founded in 1984 as a joint venture between the Flemish and Dutch governments and is now an independent non-profit organization.

IMEC's mission is to drive breakthroughs in technology and research that contribute to societal and economic progress. They achieve this through interdisciplinary collaborations with industry partners, academic institutions, and government agencies
