Description


UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is a dynamic, national organization that brings together nine of the UK's research councils, Innovate UK and Research England. It was established in 2018 to provide a unified approach to funding research and innovation in the UK.

UKRI is responsible for investing around £7.5 billion per year in scientific and engineering research, with the goal of driving economic growth and improving the quality of life in the UK. This is done through a range of funding schemes
