Description


The National Assembly of Bhutan is the legislative arm of the government of Bhutan. It is located in the capital city of Thimphu and is responsible for making laws, overseeing the government's budget, and representing the interests of the people of Bhutan.

The National Assembly is made up of 47 members, with 47 elected representatives from the 47 constituencies of Bhutan. The members are elected through democratic elections held every five years. The National Assembly is headed by a Speaker
