Description


The organization Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE) is a government agency based in Spain that focuses on promoting and improving cybersecurity in various sectors. It was founded in 2016 by merging two previously existing organizations, the National Institute of Communication Technologies (INTECO) and the Spanish Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA).

INCIBE is responsible for developing national policies, strategies, and programs that aim to protect Spanish citizens, businesses, and public institutions from cyber threats. It works
