Description

Azure Multi-Factor Authentication is a cloud-based authentication service that provides an extra layer of security for user sign-ins and transactions. It works by requiring users to provide more than one form of identity verification, such as a password and a phone number. This makes it more difficult for attackers to gain access to accounts, as they would need to have not only the user's password, but also their phone.
