The Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) is a government agency in South Korea that is responsible for promoting technological innovation and development, as well as information and communication technology (ICT) policies. The organization was established in 2017 as a result of a merger between the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. MSIT is led by the Minister of Science and ICT, who is appointed by the President of Korea.
